✓Preprocess voltage and calcium imaging datasets to improve signal-to-noise ratio
✓Export processed optical mapping data in standard formats for downstream analysis
Protocol
This protocol describes the setup and use of ElectroMap, a MATLAB-based open-source software platform for analysis of cardiac optical mapping data. ElectroMap provides a versatile high-throughput tool for analysis of optical mapping voltage and calcium datasets across a wide range of cardiac experimental models.
Difficulty
intermediate
Total time
~1-2 hours per dataset (software-dependent; excludes experimental data acquisition)
Steps
1
Launch ElectroMap and load optical mapping data
Open the ElectroMap MATLAB-based software platform and import cardiac voltage or calcium imaging datasets. Configure file paths and basic parameters for the selected experimental model.
