Biopharma Insights A novel methodology that is employed for the treatment of recurrent glioblastomas is described. This treatment approach employs the application of alternating electric tumor treating fields (TTFields), known as TTF Therapy in combination with bevacizumab, a targeted agent that is currently FDA approved as monotherapy.

Assemble Tumor Treating Fields system components
Unpack and assemble the TTF therapy device hardware, including power supply, control unit, and electrode delivery system. Verify all components are functional and ready for patient application.

Apply transducer arrays to patient scalp
Position and adhere transducer array pads to the scalp using anatomical landmarks to ensure optimal electric field distribution across the tumor region. Secure arrays with provided adhesive and verify patient comfort.

Initiate TTF therapy with bevacizumab combination
Activate the TTF device to begin alternating electric field treatment while the patient receives concurrent bevacizumab therapy. Monitor patient response and treatment parameters during the session.
