Signal Drift Across Plate

Symptom
Gradual change in signal intensity across the plate suggesting time-dependent variation during assay setup
Common Causes
  1. 1 Interrupted assay setup causing time delays between wells
  2. 2 Reagents not at room temperature during pipetting
Solutions
  1. 1 Assay setup should be continuous - have all standards and samples prepared appropriately before commencing the assay
